ACT Volunteer Center

The ACT Volunteer Center is a full service volunteer center in Western Massachusetts. We are dedicated to helping our community through volunteerism.

ACT is committed to finding volunteer opportunities for community members that fit their schedules, interests, and experiences.  ACT also strives to help local nonprofit organizations by providing volunteers who are reliable, dedicated, and capable.

The ACT Volunteer Center is the only Western Massachusetts affiliate of the national HandsOn Network. Begun in late 2006 through the merger of the Kim Howes Volunteer Center in Northampton and the Franklin County Community Service Center in Greenfield, ACT now mobilizes hundreds of volunteers each year throughout the entire Franklin-Hampshire-Hampden-North Quabbin region in response to area needs and hosts the Volunteer Coordinators’ Network of the Pioneer Valley.

The ACT Volunteer Center is located at 196 Federal Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
