Teen Housing Since 2006, Teen Housing has been developing and managing affordable housing for young adults, particularly those who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness. 15 units of very affordable housing have been renovated since 2006 and 8 more will be completed in 2012. Teen Housing is the only developer in Western Massachusetts of affordable housing specifically for teens and young adults. These supported housing projects include an array of social services, life skills education, case management, and community service responsibilities for the residents. Teen Housing is supported by private foundations (including BankNorth Foundation), the MA Department of Housing and Community Development, Boston Community Capital, Federal Home Loan Bank and gifts from local residents and businesses.
